The house was perfect in every way! We stayed with 3 teens and 4 adults. Everybody had a favorite spot. From the well equipped and super cosy kitchen to the basketball court. The interior design is amazing! The house is really a dream. Our stay was way too short. We will be back! PS We loved the titels of the books!

We cannot say enough about how above and beyond the house is -- but most of all we felt so lucky to have rented this property because of Janan & Tom. Their communication, recommendations, and general helpfulness made us feel at ease prior to and for the duration of our stay. Because of them were able to safely get from CDMX to SMA (via their driver contact), visit the truly local cafes, bakeries, restaurants & wineries (dos buhos was a consensus favorite), eat wonderful home cooked meals (from a local cook), and they were incredibly responsive whenever we had questions via their amazing housekeeper Jonathan. The home had everything we needed -- from the small details like filtered water & hot water on tap, to the beautiful views, multiple fireplaces, and the relaxing pool. We're already looking forward to our next stay at Casa Del Toro!

Such an amazing visit! Our group of 8 friends thoroughly enjoyed staying in Tom and Janan's beautifully designed and thoughtfully furnished home. The house is much more grand in person, and interior living spaces graciously flow to outdoor areas through doors that accordion open. House manager Jonathan was very responsive to questions and requests. He even arranged in advance several dinner reservations for our large group. We can't say enough good things, and hope to return again next year.

Casa del Toro exceeded our expectations on every level. Look no further, this exquisite home is a perfect fit for your visit to San Miguel. The architecture, lighting, layout, cleanliness and furnishings made us feel comfortable in this luxurious and well-appointed home. Additional features include a beautiful pool, BBQ & pizza oven, well stocked kitchen, fireplaces and an outdoor fire pit with a view of the city and some of its churches. The home resides in the safe affluent community of Ojo de Agua. Walkable to Centro for sightseeing, restaurants and shopping. Check in was easy. The owners have a house manager who told us everything we needed to know about the house. He was always available to answer any questions even about the town. The home also has a delightful housekeeper who came three times a week, and (for an extra tip) washed and folded our clothes. The list the hosts provided with restaurant, shopping and activity recommendations was spot on!Much better than any travel app!

We were in great hands from start to finish. Never had a need that wasnt already met in advance. Each room / area of the home offered a unique view and feel from sun up to sun down . In a word...INCREDIBLE. John The home was beautiful. Tom was so helpful and the caretaker and housekeeper were kind and top notch and always gracious and helpful. Tom and all went over and above to make our stay for our son's wedding in San Miguel a delightful, easy stay. We are already planning a girl's shopping trip back to SMA and we will stay here !

The pictures do not do the house justice. The most comfortable and beautiful home I have rented. First time visiting SMA and it was fantastic. Will definitely come back. The house manager was helpful for making arrangements for airport travel and local taxi. Was very sad the trip was over.

Tom & Janan's place is a nice retreat a few blocks out of town. There are 4 spacious bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms -- which was great for a girl's trip with 5 of us. The kitchen is nicely appointed and there are great "hang out" spaces throughout the home. Their house manager was very helpful in arranging transportation and answering questions. Janan was very responsive with great recommendations for our trip. Thanks for making your beautiful home available!

If you’re looking for a wonderful stay in magical San Miguel de Allende, this is a great option for a family looking to take it all in. Just up the hill from centro, you will be amazed by this property as soon as you set eyes on it. From the beautiful outdoor spaces to the 4 large bedrooms each with their own bathroom, we had plenty of room to spread out. The pool was great to cool off after a day exploring the town or playing basketball at the home. The staff at the home were friendly and worked tirelessly to ensure we had a great stay. Look no further for the house of your dreams! This thoughtful, gorgeously laid out home was a joy to stay in during our 10 days in SMA. The home is stunning with each room cozy and yet so stylishly designed - you feel comfortable and inspired! It is a short walk up town and in a very safe spot we loved the quiet at night and enjoying the terrace and fire pit! We used the pool to cool off after a day of walking many miles in this beautiful town and we adored hanging outside and enjoying a cerveza! We had a few friends and family with us and the home is so accommodating for loved ones to be together and also have space (if ya know what I mean!) And the soaking tub in the master is not to be missed!! This stay was luxury meets love - we adored it —and can’t wait to come back!

The home, within walking distance of the center of San Miguel de Allende, makes it a bargain! We comfortably had four bedrooms and 4-1/2 baths to easily accommodate eight adults. This, for us, was a trip of a lifetime! San Miguel is truly a clean, friendly, and beautiful city. Of course, the home and its amenities make it beyond comparison with its private pool, great kitchen/dining area opening onto a patio, and adjoining the pool. For our group, this home was an incredible find!

This house is absolutely incredible - we stayed for a wedding with 4 couples and there is more than enough space for everyone with en suites in each bedroom and multiple beautifully designed spaces to relax. The house is a 15 minute walk from the center and in a very quiet location. The outdoor grill was fantastic for meals at home, and the kitchen was stocked with a ton of great equipment. The rooftop has a stunning view over the town. The pool heater was broken, but most of us enjoyed the pool all the same. I highly recommend this house and hope to be back!

If you're looking for a peaceful and LUXURIOUS retreat, this is your place! We have praises to sing about Casa Del Toro, and its hosts. I honestly could probably write a chapter about everything we loved - but below are our highlights. Our group included two families of four each (kids were ages 13, 11, 10, and 6). - Stunning, curated design and style in every single corner. - The perfect walkability to the city center, but also quietly tucked far enough away for peace and quiet. - Sparkling clean rooms, bathrooms, and a lovely housekeeper who comes multiple days a week to keep everything sparkling clean. :) - The pool!!! This was SUCH a bonus for our families. After walking miles each day, we were all so grateful for some chill time swimming in the gorgeous courtyard. - The indoor-outdoor living was so incredible. There is even a pizza oven on the patio! We cooked steak one evening over the open fire grill. - Delightful, and quick-responding hosts who know everything you need to know about making your stay fabulous. - Gas firepit on the rooftop terrace made for some cozy, beautiful mornings with coffee…and some stunning evenings at sunset too. We hope to visit again sometime - and would 100% recommend to any of our family and friends (in case you can’t tell - ha!). Nice work on this truly SPECTACULAR home, Tom and Janan! :)

What an incredible find! From the moment you walk through the gated entrance you are greeted with the most beautiful grounds. The home is very well secured, fully equipped (and I mean they have EVERYTHING) and in a great location. Just a two block walk from a The Rosewood Hotel with plenty of amazing restaurants, bars and cute boutiques. (I always get nervous about booking something that is too far from the town center but the location was close to so much). Upon arrival, we were greeted by Jonathan and he walked us through the rooms and common areas of the home showing us where to locate everything we needed. He was quick to respond to my text messages with questions and suggestions on where to find what we were looking for around town. Silvya was also incredible and so helpful. She kept the place immaculate and even did some laundry for us! It never felt like she was in our way while we were there. This place is great for an adult getaway or families with older children (ours are 7 and 9). The pool was very warm when we arrived and my kids jumped in at 8am everyday. The beds were all very comfortable and it was one of the most peaceful neighborhoods we've experienced. This place is magical!

I cannot say enough good things about how incredible our stay was! Every aspect of this home was beyond our expectations! The pool, the decor, the huge kitchen & dining room table, the en-suite bathrooms in every room were all amazing! Every detail was so well thought out, down to the high quality towels, sheets and pillows. We felt like we were at a 5 star resort, and also felt so comfortable and safe! Jonathan, the house manager, was great and took great care of us!

Tom's house is absolutely beautiful! Everything was extremely clean and exactly as presented in the photos. It's a short walk to Parque Juarez, the Rosewood Hotel, or the Centro, with many wonderful shops and restaurants along the way. The House Manager, Jonathan, was extremely communicative and helpful, as was the housekeeper Sylvia. Jonathan went out of his way to make sure the pool was heated for our arrival and Sylvia also arranged a delivery of wood so we could use the wood burning pizza oven. As a chef, I found the fully equipped kitchen to be an absolute delight with an induction cooktop, SMEG microwave/oven, full size refrigerator, and large dishwasher (very uncommon for Mexico), and of course the aforementioned pizza oven. The neighborhood is quiet, but close to everything you might want to do while visiting San Miguel. We highly anticipate a return visit and would recommend this home to anyone considering a stay in San Miguel.
